As we travel from country we come across some very tasty treats. The more basic the better I say but sometimes when they are so basic you tend to think “I’ll remember that” and you do for a few days, few weeks and even a few months. However, once you stop making it, the next time you go to it… it’s a different story… if only it had been written down!
That’s certainly the case from when I was working in Germany. I did on that occasion write them down but when we are talking a life-time ago, those notes have long since gone. Especially when at one time you were cooking for someone who had the taste buds of a rock!
